#1057
Well
now,
I guess this is the last of these unpublished issues
I’ve been
doing over the summer. It looks like there is sufficient
interest in
starting back up as of next week so here we go again. I
must say that
it has been very nice not having to come up with a Squid
every week,
not having to put one together and send it out each
Friday evening.
On the other hand, it will be nice to be back in touch
with everyone.
This
week
has however been rather packed with stuff that
needed to be
done. There is the ongoing renovations, both
vehicles went in for
service, I had my appointment with the dental
specialist, and the
bike went in to the dealer for a wheel bearing.
Even though the
motorcycle dealer didn’t want to honor the bike’s
warranty by not
even mentioning it, I brought up the subject and
they then had to.
The dental specialist did a root canal, drained
and cleaned the
inside of the tooth and packed it full of some
kind of medical stuff.
I go back in 4 weeks to have it finished.
The
renovations
are now in the 3rd
phase which is also the biggest and most expensive
phase, being our
master bedroom’s bathroom which is being totally
redone. The old
soaker tub has been taken out and the can has been
relocated to the
SW corner from the SE corner. A tile and glass
shower is being built
in the SE corner. Heated tile floors are going in,
expensive fixtures
are being installed and so on. Plumbers and
electricians are getting
their share of the pie. The hardest part of all of
this is and has
been making the required decisions and there are
an endless number of
those to make.
And,
the
girls were here for a few days this week. That was nice.
