Hi All,
Well, so far the west coast Fall weather
has been quite nice. It's cool with a lot of cloud and overcast but not at all
chilly or damp. And the clear days are glorious.
Took the bike out for a short toot on
Sunday afternoon. I can't even remember when my last run was. It was overcast
here but not bad although the bottom of the cloud level was in the trees on the
ridge out the front side of the house. I headed up to Warren's and his place is
several hundred feet higher than we are. It was cool and dark and foggy there.
Of course, fog is simply a cloud that you are inside of.
My machine is still down for a couple of
days so I've got Monday and Tuesday off. Apparently, the pump on those models
have a history of self distructiion.
Sue headed for the airport at 5:30 Monday
morning on here way to Edmonton. I took the dogs out for a donut and then
started a wiring project in the rock room. There are no ligts in there so I'm
installing lighting and a recepticle. I'm also running a GFR recepticle to the
back yard so Sue can plug in the trimmer or what ever.
Hey, did you know we can get Ginger Beer in
2 liter bottles here?. It's Jamacan style and sold under the PC lable. Quite
good with a nice bite. I've got Warren hooked on the stuff and Ed was intending
to find a source back home.
Gary is out here on a working vacation.
Warren and I picked him up at the airport on Tuesday afternoon after waisting
all morning running around Vancouver on Warren’s arrens.
Sue had quite a time getting home from
Edmonton on Thursday. She was supposed to fly into Vancouver about 4:30 but AC
screwed up the flights and didn't seem to actually have one. She ended up
having to fly to Calgary and waite about 4 hours which put her home pretty
late.
We went into Vancouver on Saturday to do a
little shopping. I'm not much into shopping but with clear skies, some colour
in the leave etc the drive up the Sound is spectacular. Sue always drives so I
can watch every thing else. We picked up a ceiling fan for the front entrance
hall. Some time a may get around to installing it.
Should be a house full here for
Thanksgiving. Warren and Janice, Jason and ?? can't remember her name. Gary,
Denis and his son Rob. And of course, Tracy and Yogi.
Have a good one.
