                    Here
we
are at the end of June. This June has reverted back into
                        a more
normal version of itself in that it has for the most
                        part being cold
and wet. May was also cold and wet and therefore the
                        vegetation is
lush and green as opposed to being dried out and brown.

                    There
has
been the occasional nice day, one being this past
                        Tuesday. So, we
climbed aboard the Harley and did a nice morning toot up
                        to
Pemberton, and back of course. Once home, I decided to
                        do some
overdue maintenance on the bike. The primary chain
                        needed to be
adjusted (Sportsters don’t have an automatic adjuster,
                        it is done
manually). As well, one of the saddle bags has been
                        flopping around
and that needed to be fixed. The mounting hardware was
                        not fitting
right. I ended up coming up with a lock nut that was big
                        enough to
act as a spacer behind the mounting plate and that
                        worked well.
Saddle bag is now nice and tight.
