Hey there everyone.

Just think of this as the generic west coast newsletter. We are settled in now, there is still some painting to do but there is no rush. The dogs seem to like it here, Tracy has more energy than she used to and likes lying on the deck. Yogi has his own room so he is happy. The old spare computer is in it but I don't think he uses it much. It's our 'second' guest room. We painted it blue so not much will happen in it anyway. You know what they say, "it will only happen once in a blue room". Groan.

There are blue berries the size of cherries in the back yard. As they ripen I eat them right off the bush, kind of like a big berry bug.

Been jamming a lot with Warren, we are sounding better all the time. Had them and Dennis over for supper last night. He has moved his trailer that he lives in up to Warren's. They refer to him as their trailer trash neighbor. He is set up behind Warren's work area. Warren just finished carving an eagle out of a block of cedar and sold it for 2 grand. His work is beautiful and his reputation is well known out here. He is probably the most talented member of the Brubacher clan.

I've decided I don't like having a job. I don't mind the drive to Whistler but working for someone is the pits. The paycheck is nice but I will find some sort of self-employment as soon as I can. Warren and I have been working on plans to market 'wild wood' in various forms so that might lead to something.

We pick up Ryan and Emily at the airport today. That will be nice. Tracy will be glad to have her boy back. Yogi will be happy to have his Emily back. He will have to share his room with her. I don't think he will mind. Both Ryan and Emily will be glad to get out of your S Ont air. They both have my breathing problems so a month here will be good for them.

Would you believe I haven't had a single headache since moving here. And I have not used any anti-histamines of any sort since leaving Ont. My chest no longer hurts from trying to breath and my hands don't shake any more.

Everyone in this community has a dog or two and every one is friendly. We fit in well although Tracy can't understand the concept of other people's front lawns. So I'm still  picking up land mines all over the place. Yogi is too lazy to 'go' much further than our own yard.

Right now there are puffy cumulus clouds in and around the mountains giving everything a pastel look. Can't tell where the mountains end and the clouds start. You can watch them for hours.

Hi to everyone,
