Hey All.

Another nice sunny day with no humidity or air pollution.

Sue was off this past week, the second of a two-week holiday. I had to work. The kids flew home on Thursday, it was sad to see them leave. It was just a well that I did have to work as I'm not good at goodbyes. Sue drove them to the airport. Her and Janis went into Vancouver on Friday for a day of shopping, glad I had to work.

It's been hot enough here this summer that a lot of the lower snowfields have shrunk quite a bit. They are still there, just smaller.

My blueberries are over. There are lots in the stores however and the black berries are ripening now.

I helped Warren move a gazebo from Bowen Island to a home in Vancouver on Saturday. He had built it 12 years ago and the owners sold their place but kept the gazebo. We met up with a flat bed truck with a crane and took the ferry over. Then we braced it and lifted it onto the truck. We rode back on the boat sitting on the gazebo, on the truck, eating our lunches. Sure got a lot of strange looks. Hoisting it into the back yard of the home in Vancouver was rather interesting too. Got home later than expected.

Brenda and John Atkinson and her mother are on a western tour. They dropped in on Saturday and are staying until Monday morning when they catch an Alaskan crews. We had them and Warren's for a bbq and jam session on Saturday evening. Took them up to Warrens for a tour on Sunday morning. Sue went on to Whistler with them. I went home for a nap. I see enough of Whistler through the week.

Sue heads for the airport at 4:30 Monday morning on her way to Regina. I leave for work just past 6 so our visitors will have to see themselves off. Yogi will be glad to have his room back.
